When is The Right Time to Go?

read 3 min

You have to wait for the right time to go… And now, the moment have come.

I was going to Paris finally…

One reason for this trip was to take a photo that was going to be unique for the rest of my life… I was going to capture that moment on a train that I would probably never use again…

Everything had to be set and that dream picture had to be taken in only 20 seconds… Otherwise, I had to travel back and forth between two train stops all day…

Feelings in Paris...

A little view of the Seine river, Eiffel tower, and Umut in the train together… Finally, it was done successfully!

Now, the next dream…

The silent city: Père Lachaise Cemetery

A rainy Sunday morning in Paris… I was lost in the cemetery while looking for him…

Walking along the wide slopes and looking around to discover…

Why I was there? Only to see the Père Lachaise Cemetery? No.

My favorite artist, whose songs I’ve listened to since I was a kid. He was in Paris and, for the first time, I was this close to him… to his grave…

A slightly peaceful atmosphere… Everything was Parisian…

It was a unique place like tiny houses come together to establish perhaps the quietest city in the world. Also, imagine people from all religions, beliefs, and ideologies… They were buried together with art, symbols, and quotes on their graves…

Finally, I arrived at his grave… It was a flow of emotions for me at the grave of someone I never met, but whose voice I knew well. I often found my pure feelings within his songs in the past while struggling with life challenges… Now, again…

Eventually, time passes; the flowing water washes away everything that was staying behind you… Like the rubbish floating on the water has gone away… It makes you purified, helps you to start again from scratch, stronger, and more confident.

I think my emotional flow and relief were actually an outcome of the challenges and feelings that I had before this trip.. And, now it was overflowing…

My mother had a tumor and was undergoing treatment. I was away from her. Some other issues and feelings… Then, the situation got better. My mother recovered… I had some good news at my work and won a prize in a competition recently. Everything just happened before this trip..

I was again sharing all these memories with him… This time, he was listening to me, even though we both were silent… 🙂

Even though your favorite artist is not in Père Lachaise Cemetery, I would still recommend you to see and get lost there…

The people who did not prefer to be lost in the cemetery… 🙂

A sunset with a flow

It was not raining anymore.. You could feel the joyful evening in Paris now..

I was walking towards the sunset under the trees by the Seine River with live music in the background coming from a boat on the river..

They were playing a nice R&B song.

Everything was in flow… While one side was with this little concert, the other side had a wonderful sunset view…

The sunset on the Seine river…

This trip reminded me that all that has happened, all that we have experienced, and all that we could not experience or achieve will disappear with us.

I believe that true happiness is the line between being fully ready to end of everything and enjoying the moment at the peak of energy…

And, also final words.. Please, share your energy and happiness with your beloved ones… Life is short 🙂
