The Moment When Dynamics and Static, Past, and Now meet…
When I was 8, I started to interested in playing ball. Like many of us, my football adventure started in the streets. Well, at that time, I was not alone. Especially, in summer, I had a chance to play with 15-20 kids at different hours of the day. Sometimes, I was visiting other streets and joining them to play and improve myself more… 🙂
Actually, I was usually the first to open the football session in the street in the morning and the last person closing it after the last person except me was invited to his home by his mother.. 😀 Most probably, the reason I was always as thin as stick is I was skipping the meal hours while playing football although my mother got tired of calling me… 😊
This shot was taken at El Born- Barcelona in 2018. On the first Sunday of October, when I was walking to the Picasso museum (The first Sunday of every month, it is free…), I was relaxed after lunch and observing the city. Randomly, I saw a street and a ball was coming to me. I passed it to the kids but that moment made me feel the moments from my childhood. Yes, you are right. This was not the first time, I have seen kids playing with a ball in the street. However, the atmosphere covering the worn ball, the kids’ energy, sounds, non-professional football field transformed me through their ages. I was feeling 8 and now at the same time… 😊
