Who do you want the most to like your Instagram post?
I would like to share the story of above photo because it is a little different from the others.
At 9:00 in the morning on Sunday morning, we were slowly progressing with the vehicle convoy while trying to get to the city center from the very narrow and stony streets of Ayvalık, Turkey.
Ayvalık is a Turkish city and also, known as Aivali in Greek, and it is on the Aegean Sea coast and has unique geography having Mount Ida in the north and Madra Mountains in the east.
Millennia of olive-groves with more than 2 million trees and with hundreds of trees are over 1000 years old.

LET’S GO BACK TO PHOTO
On one of the streets, which was a little narrower than the others, when we saw the woman around her 80s sitting with her cat on the sidewalk, I went down from the car and ran to the side of the car to catch that moment. After a little hesitation, I said that I wanted to take a picture after saying hi and a short chat. She took a deep and touching look and smiled as a reflection of all the experiences that life gave her, and then we started a very fun shooting adventure.
When everything was about to end, the most crucial moment of the story occurred. When I completed the shots and showed the photos to her, she said “I am beautiful” and gave one of the warmest smiles I have ever felt in my life. While we all share our happy moments, sometimes we especially want ‘someone’ to like it.
